About

This is the entire essence of life: “Who are you? What are you?”

Short answer:

In meaningful struggle lies salvation.

Long answer:

I am dying. What do I want to have achieved while I’m still alive? What kind of life would I have hoped to live and not regret having done so?

Answer 1) Use data to benefit others especially in decision-making — Mainly solve critical problems that arise from information asymmetry –, and save humanity from extinction.

Answer 2) Be prosperous and be happy while achieving the aforementioned goal.

How will I achieve it?

  • Believing is the first step. Believing that you have, and can have what it takes to live up to the cause you stand for.
  • Creating a system the second.
  • Sticking to it, the third.
  • Gradually improving, the fourth.
  • Keeping open mind for quantum jumps, the fifth.

Mindsets to Cherish:

You do have the power to change yourself.

You must choose to believe that you do have the power to change the world around you, and therefore the world.

Because you can never truly control the outcome of your action, controlling your action is all you can ever really do. Even that is sometimes impossible to achieve because of the adverse external forces and the internal forces priming the unconscious parts of you.

But some still make changes around them despite the seeming impossibility. How?

They try. They try with all their might for a very long time. They try so hard not because they are certain of the outcome, but because they dare to make a difference. They try with all they have not because they know the future but because they know the present. How life would be, if they don’t change it for themselves.

“How desperate and devoted are you for the change? How far are you willing to commit?”

We call greatness by its name because that great is the odds against it.

“Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.”

Michael Jordan

“Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”

Steve Jobs

And so, anything (though not everything) that I can achieve through the creation of productive habits (system*), I will achieve. And it isn’t over until I accomplish what I’ve set out to accomplish because in meaningful struggle lies salvation.
